Access to cancer treatment and prevention programs is not equal for everyone in Arizona. Lack of education in cancer prevention, risk factors and treatment, as well as unequal access to cancer cancer, is a significant problem in our communities.
We offer multiple programs for high school, undergraduate and graduate students. Our mission is to improve the health care of Arizonans through fostering and achieving cultural equity and sensitivity within the state's educational and health care systems.
Building bridges between the research community of the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center and the general public as well as the K-12 community is our goal.
